The Embryo Adoption Awareness Center (EAAC) has initiated a program to help adoption agencies throughout the country learn about the alternative of embryo adoption. We have identified four levels of involvement that agencies can pursue.

ADOPTION AGENCY LEVELS OF INVOLVEMENT WITH EMBRYO ADOPTION

| LEVEL 1
|
Acquire knowledge about embryo adoption.
Agencies will educate themselves about embryo adoption at a basic level by reading material available on Internet web sites, web-based training courseware and communicating with the EAAC.

- Read Internet material regarding ED/A
- Complete Cryo-preserved Embryo Donation Education (CEDA) training course(s)
- Attend EAAC webinar "Embryo Donation and Adoption 101"

| LEVEL 2
|
Agency staff training and client educator
Agency staff members will become educated in further detail on the intricacies of embryo adoption. Agency also incorporates information/resources about embryo adoption to potential clients as part of general adoption education. Refers clients to existing embryo adoption agencies.

- Assign personnel to be the ED/A expert(s)
- Incorporate ED/A education into informational adoption seminars in your agency
- Create or acquire brochures to distribute to clients
- Review list of existing ED/A agencies
- Establish contacts with one or more ED/A agencies
- Attend EAAC webinar "Teaching Others About ED/A"

|
Embryo Adoption Home Study Provider
Agency has attended advanced EAAC training webinar(s) as well as parent education webinar(s) and is willing and able to provide embryo adoption home studies. Connects clients with existing embryo adoption agencies.

- Attend EAAC webinar "Modifying Home Study Programs for ED/A"
- Establish relationship with ED/A agency(s) for those adopting clients you send to them.
- Establish relationship with ED/A agency(s) as an agency offering ED/A Home Study processes

Partnering with Local Fertility Clinics
Agency feels confident in their knowledge regarding embryo adoption by completing Levels 1 through 3 and is able and willing to contact local fertility clinic(s) to begin building a working relationship for a source of donated embryos, counseling and potential adopters. Agency has also established a relationship with an attorney in their area. may be interested in establishing a partnership with your agency

- Identify local/regional fertility clinic(s) who
- Be willing to provide counseling services to potential donors, introduced to your agency by the clinic
- Be willing to provide counseling services to potential adopters, introduced to you by the clinic
- Refer your clients to partner clinic for FET services
- Partner with a local attorney to assist in contract preparation and completion
